Cashier

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit and debit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations to customers.
• Maintain accurate daily cash transaction records.
• Perform cash reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Keep the cash counter maintained and secure.
• Assist customers with payment-related queries.
• Handle refunds and exchanges according to company policies.
• Coordinate with Accounts or Finance on collections and discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
• Follow company cash-handling procedures.
• Support administrative or operational duties when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of cash handling and payment procedures.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Honest, reliable, and organized.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Additional accounting or finance knowledge is an advantage.

Pay

• AED 2,000–AED 2,500 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person.
