Role overview
The Complex Litigation practice represents large volumes of clients in matters involving major companies and organizations.
The Case Operations Manager acts as the mini-COO of cases, driving efficient work-up from client sign-up through settlement.
The role combines operational excellence, strategic thinking, influence, organization, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee case operations and implement tools and processes that help case teams work up client cases.
- Collaborate with legal leadership on timelines, pace, scope, and deadlines.
- Own inventory reporting and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Partner with Product, Legal, Marketing, Business Operations, and vendors to resolve case-team obstacles.
- Develop client communication programs, tailored outreach plans, and group events.
- Monitor inbound and outbound communications to drive client engagement.
- Oversee staffing, training, and onboarding for new case team members.
Job qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or operations management.
- Excellent problem-solving and structured-thinking skills.
