Production Planning and Scheduling

  • Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
  • Prepare production schedules based on project timelines and priorities.
  • Coordinate production with estimation and project teams to meet site requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of joinery items.

Workshop Management

  • Oversee cutting, machining, assembly, polishing, and finishing operations.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and tools.
  • Monitor workforce productivity and allocate tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.

Technical and Material Coordination

  • Prepare and review shop drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications.
  • Coordinate with designers and draftsmen to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure joinery items meet approved drawings and client specifications.
  • Plan material requirements and coordinate procurement for timely availability.
  • Control material wastage and optimize material usage.

Quality and Team Supervision

  • Implement quality standards for all joinery work.
  • Inspect work at different production stages and rectify defects before dispatch.
  • Manage carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and helpers.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure workers follow safety procedures and company policies.

Delivery and Site Coordination

  • Coordinate with site engineers on delivery schedules and installation priorities.
  • Ensure proper packing and safe transportation of finished items.
  • Support the site team during installation when required.

Cost Control and Reporting

  • Monitor production costs and labor efficiency.
  • Reduce rework and optimize production processes.
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Maintain production reports, progress updates, and inventory records.
  • Report delays, issues, and resource requirements to management.
  • Track productivity, wastage, and on-time delivery KPIs.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards in the workshop.
  • Conduct safety checks and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure proper handling of machines, chemicals, and materials.
  • Work location is in person.

Continuous Improvement

  • Improve workflow, machinery utilization, and production techniques.
  • Introduce new technologies or methods to enhance productivity.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices where possible.

Compensation

  • Pay starts from QAR 6,000 per month.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HSE standards and safe handling of machines, chemicals, and materials in a workshop environment.
  • Ability to coordinate production with approved drawings, client specifications, project timelines, and site requirements.
  • Ability to supervise carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and helpers.
  • Ability to monitor production costs, labor efficiency, material wastage, and delivery performance.
