About the Role

- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment and plumbing
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Driver’s License

Position Summary
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio).
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut off valves.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
- Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts.
- Display basic knowledge in air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
- Perform surface preparation, painting, drywall repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on equipment, plumbing, electrical components.
- Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering related inventory duties.
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
- No supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Driver’s License
