Position Summary
The Cargo Marine Insurance Administrator supports the organization's global cargo marine insurance program by helping internal stakeholders identify, manage, and mitigate supply chain-related risks.
The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day administration of the global CMI program, ensuring accurate insurance data collection, maintaining data integrity, and optimizing in-house IT systems and reporting tools.
Working closely with cross functional teams, the CMI Administrator provides ongoing customer service, manages insurance-related inquiries, supports claims handling and resolution, and reviews insurance requirements to ensure compliance and effective risk management across the business.
Salary
: AED 7,000/month
Main Responsibilities
- Organize and plan warehouse/ location site visits and surveys, conduct training on corporate insurance topics, and support ad-hoc insurance projects.
- Supervise policy documentation, premium payment, commission collection, certificate issuance, data accuracy, and claims handling.
- Review policy wordings and implement internal insurance guidelines,
- Prepare insurance data for risk analysis
- Engage comfortably with various functions within the organisation daily, ensuring high-end stakeholder management.
Educational Qualification And Requirements
- University degree business economics, or simi
- Any Insurance qualification will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks with a good sense of urgency and attention to details
- Highly effective characteristics: holistic thinking, accuracy, structured, efficient, flexible and responses
- Effective communication and ability to work with different levels of seniority
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
