Role Overview
Support the Cargo SkyChain application for airline cargo operations in Dubai.
The role is an onsite, one-year extendable contract.
Functional Requirements
- Mandatory end-to-end Cargo SkyChain expertise from booking through accounting.
- Experience with production support, incident management, cargo messaging standards, and system integration.
- Knowledge of airline cargo operations and SkyChain is mandatory.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, application configuration, testing, SQL, releases, and change management.
- Knowledge of IATA cargo messaging and industry standards.
- Availability for on-call support for critical cargo operations when required.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for Cargo SkyChain and monitor system performance, interfaces, and message processing.
- Investigate application incidents and user-reported issues.
- Support booking, acceptance, warehouse, and flight handling processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot FFM, FWB, FHL, ASM, CPM, UCM, UWS, LIR, and AGM cargo messages.
- Coordinate with business users, vendors, and IT teams to resolve issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and preventive actions for recurring problems.
- Support configuration, product setup, system enhancements, testing, releases, deployments, and post-implementation validation.
