About the Role

Responsibilities
- Read work orders and inspect vehicle condition
- Sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
- Mask and tape for multi tone paint work
- Mix paint and components and match colors
- Apply primer, paint, enamel, lacquer or other coatings using brush or spray guns
- Refinish galvanized outer panels and anodised aluminium mouldings
- Apply decals, transfers, stencils and other identification
- Inspect job and repair faults
- Apply or restore anti corrosion treatments
- Carry out body polishing and interior detailing

Summary of Functions
- Under general supervision, perform a variety of functions such as refinishes motor vehicle bodies by sanding, spot filling, priming, conditioning and painting.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads work orders and inspecting condition of vehicle
- Sands repaired body surface using hand and power tools, spot fill and prime
- Mask and tape for multi tone paint work and protective requirements
- Prepares paint booth equipment; Dry or bake newly painted surfaces
- Mix paint and components and match colours
- Uses equipment, brush or spray guns to apply primer, paint, enamel, lacquer or other non metallic protective and decorative coatings to automobiles
- Refinishes galvanized outer panels and anodised aluminium mouldings
- Applies decals, transfers, stencils and other types of identification to finished paint work
- Inspects job and repair faults
- Applies or restores anti corrosion treatments
- Carries out body polishing & interior detailing including washing cars for preparation
- Performs other related duties at may be required by immediate superior.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in automotive paint work.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; related degree in automotive painting or related course.
Knowledge Skills & Competencies
- Must have an increasingly broad knowledge and skills in auto painting, mixing variation of colors, spray balance colors and use of spray materials.
- Knowledge in sanding, filling, and chiseling vehicles.
- Must continually adapt to changing technology and painting techniques.
- Can work under pressure, team player and organized.
- Possesses courteous manners and presentable appearance.

- AED3,000.00 per month
