Job Description – Auto Painter
We are looking for a skilled and experienced **Auto Painter** to join our automotive service team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicle surfaces to restore vehicles to factory-quality appearance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- **Surface Preparation:** Sand, mask, prime, and prepare vehicle surfaces before painting.
- **Color Matching:** Mix and match paint colors accurately according to manufacturer specifications.
- **Spray Painting:** Apply paint coats, clear coats, and finishing materials using spray guns and painting equipment.
- **Paint Repair:** Repair paint defects, scratches, chips, and imperfections to achieve high-quality finishes.
- **Finishing & Polishing:** Buff and polish painted surfaces to ensure a smooth and glossy appearance.
- **Equipment Maintenance:** Maintain spray guns, compressors, booths, and painting tools in proper condition.
- **Safety Compliance:** Follow workplace safety procedures and proper handling of paints and chemicals.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Auto Painter
- Knowledge of automotive paint systems and color matching
- Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
- Attention to detail and good finishing skills
