Responsibilities
- Coordinate product bids and proposals
- Work with customers to identify system solutions
- Develop and execute capture plans and strategies to win new business opportunities
- Manage proposals for specific opportunities
- Work closely with Business Development and lead proposal team to develop winning solutions
- Perform accurate costing and prepare pricing information
- Seek appropriate approvals and prepare proposal packages
- Lead customer presentations
- Support negotiation of won opportunities and ensure handoff to program execution team
- Perform product/market assessments for product development and marketing plans
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant technical field
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical/business education
- Technical system background in analog and digital payloads (asset)
- Self motivated with good interpersonal skills
- Team player and demonstrates high level of integrity
- Strong analytical skills and creativity
- Thorough knowledge of relevant technologies, products, services and methods
- Result oriented with excellent critical thinking
- Ability to cope with significant workload peaks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- French proficiency would be an asset
- Must obtain and hold security clearance at reliability status level

Role Overview
- The Capture Manager – Payload leads new business capture management, pricing, bids, market analysis, and product technical presentations.
- Assignments are typically of high value, complexity, and criticality.
Tasks
- Coordinates product bids and proposals.
- Works with customers to identify system solutions.

Special Considerations
- Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at reliability status level.
- Must pass security assessment for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
