Job Purpose
The Canteen Services Lead oversees end-to-end cafeteria and catering operations outsourced to third-party food service vendors.
The role covers plant floors and administrative blocks and focuses on meal service, food safety, menu compliance, cost management, vendor SLAs, and employee satisfaction.
Vendor Governance and Service Delivery
- Supervise third-party canteen vendor staff across breakfast, lunch, dinner, night shifts, and tea or snack breaks.
- Collaborate with vendor chefs and internal committees on balanced weekly or monthly menus.
- Audit daily food preparation against approved menus.
- Manage catering setups for meetings, plant visits, audits, VIP events, and special occasions.
- Implement feedback mechanisms, conduct satisfaction surveys, and resolve service complaints.
