- Oversee daily camp operations, including accommodation management, housekeeping, catering coordination, and maintenance activities
- Supervise camp staff and manage occupancy and room allocations
- Monitor inventory and supplies, and coordinate with HR and project teams on staff movement and welfare
- Implement health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensure compliance with local regulations, and handle incident reporting and emergency preparedness
- Manage contractors and service providers, maintain accurate records, and continuously improve camp facilities and services
Requirements
- Proven experience managing labor or staff accommodations, preferably as a Camp Boss or in a similar facility management role
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and team coordination skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and basic maintenance practices relevant to staff housing and camp operations
- Good organizational, record keeping, and basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Familiarity with UAE labor laws, accommodation standards, and regulatory requirements related to staff camps
- Ability to work on site in Dubai and handle operational priorities under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Camp Boss role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The Camp Boss will oversee daily camp operations, including accommodation management, housekeeping, catering coordination, and maintenance activities to ensure a safe, clean, and organized living environment for staff.
- The role involves supervising camp staff, managing occupancy and room allocations, monitoring inventory and supplies, and coordinating with HR and project teams on staff movement and welfare.
- The Camp Boss will implement health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensure compliance with local regulations, and handle incident reporting and emergency preparedness within the camp.
- The role also includes managing contractors and service providers, maintaining accurate records, and continuously improving camp facilities and services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing labor or staff accommodations, preferably as a Camp Boss or in a similar facility management role.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workforce respectfully and effectively.
- Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and basic maintenance practices relevant to staff housing and camp operations.
- Good organizational, record keeping, and basic computer skills for managing occupancy, inventory, and reporting.
- Effective communication skills in English; additional languages commonly used in the region are an advantage.
- Familiarity with UAE labor laws, accommodation standards, and regulatory requirements related to staff camps.
- Ability to work on site in Dubai, handle operational priorities under pressure, and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or management training in facilities, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
