In this role, you will drive procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and ensure materials flow seamlessly to production .

You’ll play a critical role in balancing cost, quality, and delivery—while helping us continuously improve our supply chain.

As a Buyer at Twin Disc, you will:

• Own procurement for assigned materials and commodities to support production
• Ensure material availability and proactively resolve supply chain risks
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships, holding vendors accountable
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements to drive cost savings
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement or re-sourcing strategies
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
• Use ERP tools (JDE or similar) to analyze supply/demand and drive decisions
• Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, invoicing, and inventory
• Support inventory optimization and cost reduction initiatives
• Contribute insights in cross-functional and Daily Management meetings
• Partner on engineering changes (ECNs) and sourcing decisions
• Travel occasionally to supplier sites to strengthen relationships
