Job Summary
The Buyer Associate supports procurement and sourcing activities to enable timely and cost-effective purchase of goods and services.
The role covers supplier coordination, purchase order management, price analysis, stakeholder communication, and procurement policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders and review purchase requisitions.
- Coordinate supplier quotations, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.
- Track orders and follow up on open deliveries.
- Resolve supplier and invoice issues with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain procurement data, supplier records, and purchasing documentation.
- Support RFQ/RFP processes and supplier evaluations.
- Analyze pricing, spending trends, and purchasing data for savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, operations teams, and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two to three years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations experience.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and the purchase order lifecycle.
