Position Overview
The Buyer Analyst supports production planning, procurement, inventory management, supplier coordination, and customer delivery commitments.
The role owns the PAN India SIOP process and collaborates with the APAC Material Demand Planning team.
Responsibilities
- Plan production and assembly requirements and coordinate production scheduling.
- Create, review, and release purchase orders and maintain accurate planning records.
- Address past-due orders, stock-outs, shortages, and delivery expedites.
- Review safety stock, inventory performance, and excess or obsolete stock.
- Respond to Customer Service enquiries about lead times and delivery schedules.
- Resolve delivery, quality, documentation, invoice, and inventory issues.
- Maintain planning parameters, item data, and system records for assigned materials.
- Monitor supplier changes and communicate price or supply impacts to Supply Management.
- Prepare performance measurement reports and support disposition of non-conforming receipts.
- Assist with import/export documentation and E-way bill filing.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in procurement, materials management, production planning, or supply chain management; 5 years is preferred.
