Responsibilities
- Carry out all purchasing activities including float of inquiries, economical and contractual negotiations
- Issue economical evaluation to project teams
- Cooperate with project teams in highlighting reasons for extra budgets and proposing mitigation actions
- Issue purchase orders and following amendments
- Expedite purchase order acceptance by vendors
- Support project procurement coordinators during development of supplies
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions
- Coordinate cross functional team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 8 years of relevant purchasing experience in construction of large oil & gas plants / EPC projects
- International purchasing experience
- Experience in purchase of steel structure fabrication, piping bulk, and other oil and gas EPC project purchase

Duties and responsibilities
- To carry out all the purchasing activities, according to the indications and guidelines of purchasing coordinator / Head of Purchasing Department, such as: float of inquiries, economical and contractual negotiations, issue of economical evaluation to project teams, cooperate with project teams in hi
- To support project procurement coordinators during the development of the supplies in case of any commercial problem.
- International purchasing experience.
- Involvement in purchase of steel structure fabrication, piping bulk, and other oil and gas EPC project purchase experience.
- Commercial terms and conditions negotiations.
- Coordination cross functional team.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant purchasing experience in construction of large oil & gas plants / EPC projects.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, management skills.
- Team oriented skills, self motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
