Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive Social Sciences Business lessons following the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for Social Sciences and foster critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Participate in parent teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education degree or initial degree plus relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE) in Business
- IB/AP experience in Business preferred
- Proven experience teaching High School Social Sciences Business, preferably in American/IB curriculum school
- Strong knowledge of inquiry based learning and hands on Social Science education
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues

Position Overview

Successful candidates will need
