Role Summary

  • The Business Operations Manager acts as the business PMO for the lending business, responsible for driving key operational initiatives, ensuring payment related business continuity, and coordinating cross functional projects across Product, Tech, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
  • This role focuses on execution excellence, stakeholder management, and process optimization to support business priorities and ensure stable and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross functional projects across the lending business.
  • Develop project plans, track milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify project risks and blockers and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish governance and reporting mechanisms to improve execution visibility and accountability.
  • Coordinate with Product, Tech, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable plans and track implementation progress.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment among stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support operational readiness and post implementation follow up for key initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, PMO, or related roles.
  • Experience in fintech, lending, payments, banking, or financial services is preferred.
  • Prior experience in payment operations, finance operations, reconciliation, or business process management is highly preferred.

Skills

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent cross functional communication and execution skills.
  • Strong problem solving ability with a structured and detail oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects independently.
  • Strong ownership and result oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with payment lifecycle, including disbursement, repayment, refund, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
  • Understanding of payment gateways, wallet operations, banking processes, and financial controls.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Finance, Payment, Risk, and Technology teams.
