Role Description
Work part-time and remotely to turn data into actionable insights supporting event planning and strategic decisions.
Analyse participant, event, and activity data and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse data related to participants, events, and activities.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Design and maintain data models and support data warehousing activities.
- Assist in building ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Identify trends, measure engagement and impact, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with organizers and technical teams to define requirements.
- Present technical findings in a clear and accessible format.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex datasets and generate clear insights.
- Proficiency in data exploration, visualization, and basic statistical analysis.
- Experience or familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling.
- BI and reporting tool experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of databases and SQL or similar query languages.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage part-time responsibilities effectively.
- A background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred; students and recent graduates are welcome.
