Role overview
Customer-facing business development role focused on expanding agricultural drone adoption across Canada.
The role combines relationship-building, product education, opportunity development, and sales follow-through.
Business development
- Represent the company at farms, grower meetings, trade shows, field days, and agricultural events.
- Build partnerships with growers, agronomists, retailers, cooperatives, and agricultural service providers.
- Identify customer needs, qualified opportunities, and adoption opportunities for drone-based solutions.
- Analyze industry trends and customer needs to support market growth and business development strategy.
Customer solutions and sales
- Recommend drone applications for scouting, crop monitoring, spraying, mapping, labor efficiency, input optimization, and yield management.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, product demonstrations, and follow-up materials.
- Help farmers evaluate the business case for adopting drone technology.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, engineering, and operations teams.
