Overview
- Reporting to the Eastern Engineering Solutions Manager, the Business Development Representative will drive growth and promote innovative product solutions, focusing on engineering coverage in the Vancouver construction and engineering market.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities by building relationships with engineers and decision makers.
- Leverage knowledge of Vancouver market to drive adoption of product solutions.
- Operate autonomously while contributing to a high performing team.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product technical scope and services.
- Write and develop design specifications for technical audiences.
- Establish and sustain close contact with stakeholders to influence engineering standards.
- Conduct small group councils with top tier owners, engineers, and product executives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or BCom.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or MBA is an asset.
- Extensive experience in construction and engineering fields, particularly Vancouver market.
- Proven track record in sales including account management and achieving targets.
- Exceptional engineering skills with ability to develop design specifications.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to travel.
