About the Role
Mashreq Corporate & Investment Banking Group is hiring a Business Development Officer for SME sales in Abu Dhabi. The role involves sourcing new business banking current accounts, generating fee income through foreign exchange, trade, and bancassurance, and achieving monthly sales targets.

Responsibilities
- Source new to business banking current accounts
- Ensure account is funded as per KPI expectations
- Generate fee income including Foreign Exchange, Trade, Bancassurance, Deposits
- Prospect in targeted markets via phone calls and face to face visits
- Present and sell business banking products and services
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Maintain and develop customer relationships for cross sell opportunities
- Adhere to KYC & AML policy during onboarding
- Conduct micro marketing activities and participate in events
- Record sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and update CRM
Requirements

Key Performance Indicators
- Sourcing new to business banking current accounts
- Ensuring the account is funded as per expectations defined in KPI
- Generate Fee income for the bank including Foreign Exchange, Trade, Bancassurance, Deposits
- Prospect in targeted markets that require meeting standards in phone calls and face to face visits
- Present and sell all business banking products & services to potential customers
- Achieve monthly sales targets in the financial year
- Maintaining and developing relationships with customers to enhance cross sell opportunities
- Adhere to Bank's KYC & AML policy
- Ensure KYC guidelines are adhered while onboarding business banking customers
- Conducting micro marketing activities including participation in events and direct marketing
- Handling objections to increase take up rates
- Record all sales activities in Daily Sales Reports and update CRM
