The Academy Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring the country strategy for TÜV SÜD Academy, ensuring sustainable business growth and market positioning.
The role involves driving business development, managing key client relationships and government stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing end-to-end academy operations including sales, training delivery, certification, and resource management.
The role also requires strong leadership capability to lead, align, and develop both sales and operations teams, ensuring high performance, accountability, and collaboration across functions to achieve business targets.
Your Tasks
- Develop and implement the country-specific Academy strategy aligned with regional and global objectives
- Drive business development activities to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Establish and manage strategic relationships with key clients, industry partners, and government authorities
- Lead Key Account Management (KAM) activities to secure long-term partnerships and repeat business
- Engage with regulatory bodies to obtain and maintain training center approvals, licenses, and accreditations
- Manage and support audits from authorities and accreditation bodies, ensuring full compliance
- Oversee sales and operational activities including lead management, pipeline tracking, and conversion
- Lead, manage, and develop both sales and operations teams, setting clear targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Drive a high-performance culture within the teams, ensuring accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across sales and operational functions
- Ensure effective delivery of training programs (classroom, virtual, and e-learning) with high customer satisfaction
- Develop and manage a pool of qualified trainers, including onboarding, evaluation, and performance monitoring
- Identify and secure suitable training venues and ensure operational readiness for training delivery
- Oversee certification processes, including examination, certification issuance, and compliance with standards
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical, marketing, operations) to ensure integrated service delivery
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), analyze market trends, and provide strategic insights for continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to TÜV SÜD quality standards, policies, and procedures
- **Your Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in training, certification, or service-based industries
- Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, and strategy execution
- Experience dealing with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and accreditation processes
- Strong understanding of training operations, certification schemes, and learning solutions
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (trainers, partners, vendors)
- Familiarity with the Saudi market and regulatory environment is highly preferred
