The Business Development Manager will help bring new technologies to market and support commercial strategy, customer relationships, product-market fit, and early customer adoption.
The role works with scientific, engineering, operations, and executive teams across mining, infrastructure, energy, and related industries.
Market discovery and insights
- Conduct market research and environmental scanning to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and priority segments.
- Map market segments, customer landscapes, and stakeholder ecosystems to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
- Contribute to pricing, positioning, market-entry strategies, and business development planning.
Customer and commercial validation
- Engage customers and prospects to understand operational challenges, validate use cases, and test value propositions.
- Build a qualified pipeline of pilots and early-stage projects to demonstrate capability and gather feedback.
- Develop tailored proposals and translate customer requirements into inputs for technical and product teams.
