Overview of the Role

  • This role drives business growth by identifying new opportunities, engaging with clients, and delivering tailored waste management solutions through effective negotiations, quotations, and deal closure, while supporting market expansion, team leadership, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop market and client relationships with key stakeholders to enhance market penetration and growth potential.
  • Identify, originate and capture revenue growth opportunities.
  • Develop sales framework and marketing campaigns to support sales growth and customer retention.
  • Target and identify customer base to develop into significant revenue generation and growth of market share.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Develop business relationships that would lead to clear growth opportunities.
  • People Management.
  • Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
  • Risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Business Administration.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) (advantageous).

Knowledge

  • Fluent in English; Arabic/Urdu (advantageous).
  • Environment Services industry knowledge.
  • Commercial Awareness.
  • Financial management and wider management principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ management level experience in related field.
  • KSA experience is mandatory.
  • Waste management/ environmental services (advantageous).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer facing role.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a team.

Technical Competencies

  • MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Global and Cultural Effectiveness.
  • Leadership and Navigation.
  • Commercial Awareness.
  • Business Development Skills.
  • Awareness of the local market and key players and stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of financial management.
