Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth initiatives within the freight forwarding industry.
The role focuses on revenue growth, market-share expansion, new business opportunities, market analysis, strategic planning, and high-level client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic business plans to drive company growth.
- Identify and pursue new freight forwarding and logistics opportunities.
- Build relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Lead and mentor peers and team members to achieve targets.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts and partnerships.
- Collaborate with operations on project execution.
- Report business development activities and results to the Sales Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and international trade regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- UAE driving license.
