Job Summary
The Business Development Manager – Events will develop new business in events, exhibitions, entertainment, and temporary structures.
The role requires market knowledge, client relationships, and experience handling event-related requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop opportunities in events and exhibitions.
- Build relationships with event companies, organizers, agencies, contractors, hospitality clients, and government-related entities.
- Generate leads through meetings, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market research.
- Recommend suitable scaffolding and temporary structure solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare and follow up on proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close new business.
- Maintain existing client relationships and generate repeat business.
- Identify upcoming events, exhibitions, activations, festivals, and entertainment projects.
- Coordinate with estimation, operations, design, and site teams.
