Responsibilities

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, customer behaviour and industry developments to identify new F&B concepts, formats, services and market segments that expand the F&B business portfolio and generate new revenu e.
  • Develop commercially viable F&B concepts and proposals by defining the customer proposition, service model, target market, revenue potential and operational requirements, based on market trends and customer needs, to support profitable business growth.
  • Evaluate the commercial feasibility of new F&B opportunities in collaboration with the Finance Business Partner, assessing pricing, costing, investment requirements, profitability, and revenue potential to support informed business and investment decisions.
  • Lead F&B business development projects from concept through implementation, coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to grow and enhance existing F&B outlets, concepts, menus, service models and sales channels to improve customer experience, increase revenue, profitability and strengthen market presence.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with F&B brands, operators, suppliers, landlords, and other stakeholders to create new commercial opportunities and expand the F&B business.
  • Monitor and evaluate the commercial performance of F&B initiatives, including revenue, profitability, costs, and customer feedback, to measure performance against business targets and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
  • Drive F&B business innovation by identifying and introducing new commercial models, strategic partnerships, digital solutions, and other opportunities to strengthen the customer proposition, expand market reach, and generate additional revenue.

Qualifications

  • Education Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s in business administration, Hospitality Management, F&B Management or a related field
  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in F&B and hospitality business development, commercial strategy, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong business development and strategic planning capabilities
  • Solid commercial and financial analysis skills to support sound decision-making
  • Proven project management experience across multiple initiatives
  • Strong market research and business intelligence capabilities to identify growth opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience in F&B concept and solution development
  • Ability to build and manage strong partnerships and client relationships
  • Effective stakeholder management across all levels of the business
  • Strategic, problem-solving mindset with sound business judgment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of F&B operations and customer experience
