Position Overview

  • The IT Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s IT products, solutions, and services.
  • This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technology understanding, sales excellence, and strong communication skills.
  • UAE market experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT products/solutions/services domain.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and partnerships.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their technology needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Present IT offerings through demos, presentations, proposals, and solution briefs.
  • Prepare high quality RFP/RFI responses, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Close deals and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Must have sold and generated IT services business in UAE market.
  • Maintain long term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling/cross selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams for seamless project implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT sales/business development.
  • Proven track record in selling IT services, enterprise technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, cloud technologies, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships and influence decision makers.
  • Self driven, target oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
