Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Arabic speaking Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth and expand our footprint within Public Sector and Government accounts in Qatar.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT services/solutions sales, strong relationships within government entities, and the ability to manage complex, high value engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth & Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate and expand in Public Sector accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company offerings (IT Services, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Cybersecurity, etc.).
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Public Sector Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, ministries, and public institutions.
  • Navigate procurement processes, RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
  • Position the company as a trusted advisor to public sector clients.
  • Sales & Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop a qualified pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
  • Lead large deal pursuits, including bid management and proposal development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with C level executives and key decision makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Pre sales, Delivery, Marketing, Alliances).
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and public sector initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development.
  • Strong experience working with Public Sector / Government clients.
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex IT deals.
  • Fluency in Arabic (mandatory).
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in one or more areas: Digital Transformation, Cloud Services, Cybersecurity, Enterprise IT Solutions / System Integration.
  • Strong network within government and public sector organizations.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments.
