Role Summary

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities for CLSTR. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and first contact through to proposals, RFP and tender submissions, negotiation, and signed contracts while building la

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities across events, brand activations, corporate, and government sectors
  • Lead the preparation and submission of RFP and tender responses, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and on time delivery
  • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closure
  • Develop tailored proposals, pitches, and commercial offers in collaboration with the creative and production teams
  • Meet and exceed agreed revenue and sales targets
  • Build and nurture long term client relationships that turn single projects into ongoing partnerships
  • Represent CLSTR at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform strategy
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery

Requirements

  • Based in Qatar with strong knowledge of the local market (local hire only)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within the events and hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of RFPs and tenders, with a proven ability to prepare and win competitive bids
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
  • Strong network of contacts within Qatar's business community is a plus
  • Self motivated, organized, and comfortable owning targets and deadlines
  • Valid Qatar residency (transferable) and driving license preferred
