Job Description

  • Pursue sales leads
  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas,
  • trends, customers, and products.
  • Arrange meetings with prospective clients and conduct regular field visits.
  • Lead efforts to open new markets and increase market share in existing markets.
  • Attend industry events to increase visibility in market and identify new opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors by collecting market information on prices, new products, delivery schedules and promotion techniques.
  • Submit reports pertaining to sales and marketing, and business development efforts to General Manager / Deputy General Manager.
  • Familiarization with product types and high-level technical knowledge vis-à-vis target industries and specific customer requirements.

Required Experience And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the sales/business development function preferably in food industry.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (reading/writing/speaking)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
