Business Development Manager - Access Control Products - Distribution

dormakaba UK have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our Access Control Systems Sales team.

Our Access Control Sales team promote our access control products to the security and construction industries via the establishment and maintenance of partnership agreements with suppliers and distributors, as well as promoting these products with end users to create opportunities for our partners to install and commisson dormakaba products. You will be promoting "best in class" products with reliability and longevity, so you will have the confidence that what you are promoting has an excellent track record which is used extensively within major organisations, as well as goverment and public sector bodies.

This is a role which is about business development, finding new opportunities, developing relationships and building our business through both direct and indirect means.

Previous experience in a "consultative" business development role within the construction product or security product industries

Proven ability to build long term, profitable partnerships with distributors, contractors or system integrators.

Excellent negotiation skills

As this is a national role we are happy to accept candidates in most parts of the UK, but please be aware you will be required to travel extensively and this my require occasinal nights away from home.

Ideally an understanding of the access control industry, however we will provide full technical training for the right candidate

Company Car or Car Allowance

1% commission on all sales (subject to meeting target thresholds) with accelerators for high performers.
