About The Role

Our client, a growing shipping and logistics company, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, expand market presence, and grow revenue across freight and shipping services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in shipping, freight, and logistics
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate commercial terms
  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams for service delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
  • 4–8 years of experience in business development within shipping/logistics
  • Strong network in freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Knowledge of UAE/GCC shipping market is a strong advantage
