The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates.
The role develops new business, manages client relationships, and expands personal and commercial insurance offerings.
The position works with corporate and individual clients and collaborates with underwriting and operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and nurture corporate and individual client relationships.
- Expand the portfolio of personal and commercial insurance products.
- Conduct market analysis, prepare proposals, and negotiate terms.
- Manage the sales pipeline and track performance against targets.
- Attend client meetings and industry events.
- Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to support service delivery.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications
- Strong business development, sales, and account management skills with a record of achieving growth targets.
- Experience in insurance or financial services and knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products.
- Competence in market research, lead generation, and pipeline management.
- Effective negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate across teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Arabic proficiency and relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
