Role Overview
Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition in an assigned territory.
The role focuses on logistics sales, client relationships, account growth, and new business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities aligned with company services.
- Retain and grow existing-client revenue through deep selling, cross-selling, and value-added offerings.
- Meet customers, understand logistics needs, and present tailored solutions.
- Prepare proposals and presentations that meet client objectives.
- Build long-term client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and finance teams on service delivery.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity.
- Achieve customer acquisition, volume, revenue, and gross-profit targets.
- Record sales activities in the CRM system and follow required processes.
- Own business development strategy and follow up on major opportunities.
- Develop overseas partner relationships, pipelines, and sales leads through regular travel.
- Manage volume and profitability across product groups and distribute market intelligence.
