Role Overview
UKTC is seeking a results-driven Sales Business Development Manager to support growth of its Reaction to Fire testing department.
The role focuses on new business development, key account management, and positioning UKTC as a trusted partner for product manufacturers navigating fire performance and certification requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the Reaction to Fire testing market.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive business development and targeted market engagement.
- Promote Reaction to Fire testing capabilities, including classification and technical requirements support.
- Develop relationships with manufacturers, distributors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage and grow key accounts while supporting customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead the sales cycle from initial contact through proposals, negotiation, and contract award.
- Stay informed on standards, regulations, and industry developments affecting fire performance testing.
- Represent UKTC at industry events, exhibitions, seminars, and client meetings.
- Coordinate with technical and operational teams on tailored testing programmes and client solutions.
- Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting.
