Join Pacific National’s Intermodal Sales team as a Business Development Executive.
Drive new business, reactivate dormant customers, and grow existing accounts through proactive sales activity and relationship management.

What You’ll Do
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, outbound sales activity, and customer engagement.
- Acquire new customers, reactivate dormant accounts, and grow existing customer spend.
- Manage opportunities from initial discovery through to revenue generation.
- Develop customer relationships and identify tailored freight solutions.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Commercial, and Sales teams on onboarding and customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity.
- Contribute to revenue, customer acquisition, and activity targets.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous sales, business development, internal sales, or outbound customer-facing experience within transport and logistics.
- Ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and convert leads into business outcomes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
- Resilience, initiative, and a results-driven mindset.
- Organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- CRM experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics, is preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Exposure to transport, logistics, freight, or supply chain industries is preferred.
- Desire to learn, develop, and build a long-term commercial career.
