About the Role
Souk Commerce is seeking a Business Development Executive to identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers onto the Hair & Beauty Souk platform. The role involves face-to-face supplier meetings across the UAE and requires a valid driving licence and vehicle.

Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential suppliers across the UAE
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified supplier opportunities
- Conduct supplier meetings, presentations and commercial discussions
- Explain and promote the Hair & Beauty Souk marketplace model
- Evaluate supplier suitability against company strategy and commercial objectives
- Progress suppliers through qualification, onboarding and activation stages
- Coordinate collection of supplier information, catalogues, pricing and supporting documentation
- Work alongside internal resources to support supplier activation and product listing activities
- Provide market intelligence regarding suppliers, competitors, brands and industry trends
- Maintain accurate records of supplier engagement activity and onboarding progress
- Represent Hair & Beauty Souk professionally within the UAE market
Requirements
- UAE based and legally able to attend supplier meetings across the UAE
- Demonstrated experience in business development, supplier acquisition, commercial partnerships, wholesale, distribution or related commercial roles
- Proven ability to identify, qualify and progress commercial opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship building skills
- Comfortable conducting face to face supplier meetings
- Self motivated and capable of working independently
- Valid UAE driving licence
- Access to a vehicle for supplier meetings
- Ability to build and manage a commercial pipeline
- Professional written and verbal English communication skills

- Souk Commerce is a UAE based online marketplace focused on professional haircare, beauty, skincare, salon and wellness products.
- Our supplier fulfilment marketplace model allows approved suppliers to retain and fulfil their own inventory whilst we focus on customer acquisition, marketing, technology and marketplace growth.
Engagement Options
- Option 1 – Permanent Employment: AED 6,000 – AED 8,000 monthly salary, UAE employment visa sponsorship, business expense reimbursement capped at AED 1,000 per month, performance bonus framework.
- Option 2 – Flexible Commercial Partner (Commission Only): Flexible side hustle arrangement, no fixed hours, no salary or retainer, performance based commission structure.

- Year 1: Build a strong UAE supplier network, focus on supplier fulfilment and marketplace growth.
- Years 2 3: Expand supplier relationships across the GCC, introduce selective warehouse and distribution capabilities.
- Years 3 4: Continue expanding owned distribution capabilities, retain supplier fulfilment for specialised products.
The Opportunity
- This role is focused on identifying, qualifying and onboarding new suppliers onto the Hair & Beauty Souk platform.
- The primary focus is supplier acquisition, supplier onboarding and marketplace growth.
- You will work directly with the Founder and play a key role in helping build the supplier network.
