Business Development Responsibilities
- Hunt and form business opportunities and identify new sectors in the assigned market.
- Target banking, financial institutions, money exchange houses, remittance services, and AML compliance-related sectors.
- Manage existing client relationships, retain accounts, and increase new and existing client revenue.
- Contact potential clients, establish relationships, and set up meetings to expand the client database.
Client and Commercial Management
- Prioritize client requirements and follow up on business status.
- Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary business information.
- Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, prospects, and partners to secure favorable terms.
Market and Product Development
- Research business opportunities and new sectors and analyze market gaps.
- Suggest product enhancements in line with market and client requirements.
- Explore new and existing partnerships as value-added services for the company.
- Pitch products and services to new and existing clients and manage product demonstrations.
Qualifications
- Seven to ten years of experience in the sale of IT software with exposure to fintech products is required.
- Required fintech exposure includes payments, remittances, and AML/CFT compliance.
