This is a part-time remote Business Development Director role.
The position focuses on growth within the construction and general contracting sector.
The role identifies opportunities, develops strategic relationships, and manages business development performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans and conduct market analysis.
- Build strategic relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Manage the sales pipeline and oversee lead generation activities.
- Coordinate proposals, bids, and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain key accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to communicate and deliver client requirements.
- Report on performance metrics, revenue forecasts, and market trends.
- Refine business development strategies on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in new business development and lead generation, including identifying, qualifying, and converting opportunities.
- Experience in business planning, market analysis, revenue forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, commercial terms, risk management, and compliance.
- Strong account management capabilities, including relationship building, client retention, and upselling services.
- Background in construction, contracting, or related industries with knowledge of regional market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet targets within a part-time schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; advanced business qualifications are a plus.
