Responsibilities
- Draft, structure, and maintain Business Continuity Plans in alignment with ISO 22301 and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate internal departments and partner subcontractors to collect data for BIAs, contingency assessments, and recovery considerations
- Ensure all BCPs comply with regulatory guidance and integrate emergency roles, responsibilities, and command structures
- Lead and coordinate BIA execution across operational and technical departments
- Support identification and validation of RTO, RPO, MTPD, and MAO
- Define and coordinate Disaster Recovery strategies with systems/IT leadership and partner subcontractors
- Verify continuity capabilities for critical operational systems meet technical and operational resilience requirements
- Participate in design and execution of annual internal and external exercises, including tabletop exercises and emergency simulations
Requirements
- Highly experienced in Business Continuity & Emergency Planning
- Knowledge of ISO 22301 and regulatory governance requirements
- Experience in conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs)
- Ability to coordinate cross departmental data collection and validation
- Experience in disaster recovery strategy definition
- Familiarity with emergency management and security stakeholder coordination

Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly experienced Business Continuity & Emergency Planning Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of all Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), ensuring compliance with contractual, operational, regulatory, and technical design requirements.
- The role requires cross departmental coordination and structured data collection to ensure that Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), contingency planning, and disaster recovery strategies are aligned with operational and system design requirements.
- The position acts as the initiator, maintainer, and developer of the Business Continuity framework across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, structure, and maintain Business Continuity Plans in alignment with ISO 22301, regulatory governance requirements, and internal procedures.
- Coordinate internal departments and partner subcontractors to collect data required for: Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Contingency assessments, Minimum resource requirements, Technological dependencies, Recovery considerations.
- Ensure structured documentation and formal validation of all inputs.
- Ensure all Business Continuity Plans comply with relevant regulatory guidance and emergency management requirements.
- Integrate emergency roles, responsibilities, command structures, and notification protocols into continuity documentation.
- Support coordination with emergency authorities and security stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate BIA execution across all operational and technical departments.
- Collect and validate operational, technical, and contractual elements impacting continuity.
- Support identification and validation of: Recovery Time Objective (RTO), Recovery Point Objective (RPO), Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption (MTPD), Maximum Acceptable Outage (MAO).
- Ensure recovery objectives align with system design, redundancy architecture, operational needs, and contractual constraints.
- Define and coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies in collaboration with Systems/IT leadership and partner subcontractors responsible for critical systems.
- Ensure DR strategies align with BIA targets, system architecture, redundancy logic, and operational requirements.
