Responsibilities
- Conduct meetings to explain Xpedeon Engineering module processes to clients and map existing client processes to Xpedeon standard processes
- Define and agree on 'To Be' processes within project scope covering engineering workflow
- Explain required master data for system configuration across engineering modules and guide data conversion
- Lead, mentor, and motivate core and end users across engineering and project teams
- Ensure process sign off prior to UAT execution for all engineering modules and coordinate User Acceptance Testing
- Ensure readiness of master and opening data before Go Live and validate system configuration
- Supervise Hypercare phase and resolve post Go Live issues
- Supervise and guide consultants to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Ensure ongoing quality support and handholding post Go Live
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in construction project management or engineering operations, preferably in the Middle East
- Hands on experience with integrated ERP systems covering engineering, procurement, inventory, and finance modules
- Prior involvement in ERP implementation projects within the construction or engineering sector preferred
- Strong understanding of construction project delivery and EPC/general contracting operations across UAE, KSA, Oman, and wider GCC
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and lead project implementation teams

Role Overview
- Seeking a skilled and experienced Business Consultant – Engineering to lead the delivery and implementation of the Xpedeon ERP System, with a focus on engineering related modules.
- The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in construction and engineering project operations within the Middle East, combined with a strong consultative mindset.
- This role requires aligning client processes with Xpedeon's standardized Engineering framework, which is based on industry best practices and compliant with regional construction sector requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Consulting & Agreement: Conduct meetings to explain Xpedeon Engineering module processes to clients; map existing client processes to Xpedeon standard processes; define and agree on 'To Be' processes; align client reporting requirements with system capabilities.
- Data Management & Migration: Explain required master data for system configuration; review client data and guide conversion; define opening data migration strategy; identify risks related to data quality; ensure timely collection and validation of required data.
- User Enablement & Change Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate core and end users; drive adoption by demonstrating system benefits; assess user readiness.
- Testing & Go Live Readiness: Ensure process sign off prior to UAT; coordinate and supervise User Acceptance Testing; ensure availability of test scenarios; guide issue resolution during UAT.
- Go Live & Hypercare: Ensure readiness of master and opening data before Go Live; validate system configuration; supervise Hypercare phase; ensure successful transition.
- Project Governance & Team Leadership: Supervise and guide consultants; participate in review meetings; document key decisions; communicate updates to stakeholders; coordinate cross functional dependencies.
- Post Implementation Support: Ensure ongoing quality support and handholding post Go Live; provide guidance on best use of Xpedeon engineering modules.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 8–10+ years in construction project management or engineering operations, preferably in the Middle East
- ERP Expertise: Hands on experience with integrated ERP systems covering engineering, procurement, inventory, and finance modules
- Implementation Experience: Prior involvement in ERP implementation projects within the construction or engineering sector preferred
- Functional Knowledge: End to end engineering module operations; procurement processes; inventory and materials management; subcontracting setup; contract management; budget setup and cost control; Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR)
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction project delivery and EPC/general contracting operations across UAE, KSA, Oman, and wider GCC
- Consulting Skills: Ability to engage, influence, and align client stakeholders at project and site management levels
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Leadership: Ability to work independently and lead project implementation teams
- Documentation: Strong ability to document processes, decisions, and action items clearly
