Your Impact at GEICO
GEICO is seeking a Business Applications Developer to build associate-facing applications that enable business analytics, streamline internal processes, and support business decisions.
The role works closely with business partners, infrastructure engineers, DevOps, and IT security teams.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Translate business requirements into technical design specifications for application changes and new application systems.
- Code, debug, test, and document applications.
- Create, execute, and evaluate application system test plans.
- Configure servers and research or implement software, services, and platforms that support application development best practices.
- Create plans for project tasks.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least one year of programming experience with SQL, R, Python, or Power BI.
- At least one year of full-time relevant work experience in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule based out of Bethesda, Chicago, or Cleveland.
