Program Overview
GEICO is hiring analytical students for a paid 10-week summer Analyst Internship Program within the Chief Financial Officer Organization.
The Finance and Operations Track provides exposure to analyst project work and may prepare interns for the Analyst Development Program after graduation.
Project Work and Development
- Complete significant analyst projects, attend meetings, and present to senior management.
- Learn Finance and Operations systems, data, and integration points.
- Develop analytical, project management, communication, and business acumen skills.
- Analyze results with business stakeholders and recommend future investment decisions.
Finance and Operations Exposure
- Potential areas include financial planning and analysis, enterprise risk management, treasury, financial systems, supplier management operations, strategy, internal audit, and real estate and facilities operations.
- Use or learn Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, similar tools, and financial systems such as Workday Financials.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, FinTech, or another relevant analytical major.
