Role Overview
Business Analyst role in the Global Banking IT Business Analysis and Solutions Team.
The role supports Trade Finance global releases and application support for Connexis Trade.
The analyst works with business stakeholders, Paris-based teams, project managers, development, testing, security, and architecture teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, perform impact analysis, and define functional specifications.
- Design functional solutions and user workflows and obtain stakeholder review and signoff.
- Define SIT, UAT, and NRT testing scope and approach.
- Guide test case preparation, validate SIT results, and support UAT execution.
- Analyze defects and prioritize fixes for delivery by development teams.
- Document user manuals and release notes and assist with migration exercises.
- Analyze production defects and propose functional solutions.
- Follow bank compliance policies and CIB ITO APAC standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 to 4 years of Trade Finance IT Business Analyst experience in a corporate banking environment.
- At least 5 years of experience is also specified in the experience section.
- Good functional experience with Trade Finance products and applications.
- Fluency in reading and speaking French is required for Paris stakeholder collaboration.
Technical and Behavioral Skills
- Business analysis, stakeholder communication, and cross-country coordination.
- Familiarity with SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO 20022, and data transformations.
- Proficiency in Unix/Shell scripts, XML, and Oracle/PLSQL.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
- ISTQB Level 2 certification is an added advantage.
