Business Analyst - Corporate Banking

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder requirements sessions and define scope, objectives, and functional needs.
• Prepare BRDs, FSDs, and user stories for banking and digital-channel projects.
• Conduct gap analysis, data-flow mapping, and business process reengineering.
• Liaise between business stakeholders and technical or development teams.
• Support product vision, backlog prioritization, and requirement refinement in Agile delivery.
• Coordinate UAT and SIT, including test scripts and defect tracking.
• Manage change requests, impact assessments, and system enhancements.
• Support API integrations, banking modernization, user training, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on customer experience and strategic design objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 8 years of Business Analyst experience in banking product implementation and business analysis.
• Strong expertise in corporate banking, cash management, virtual accounts, liquidity, SWIFT, and payments.
• Hands-on implementation experience with core banking and corporate banking platforms.
• Trade Finance experience covering LC/LG issuance and amendment and shipping guarantees.
• Experience migrating online or internet banking platforms to mobile banking platforms.
• Working knowledge of API integrations and banking application modernization.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Oracle SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• CSPO or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Banking experience in Qatar, the GCC, or broader Middle East markets is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale banking digital transformation programs is preferred.
