Role Overview
Oversee ongoing bank projects and coordinate delivery against requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
The role focuses on cash management, corporate channels, transaction banking, payment platforms, and escrow-related solutions.
The Business Lead may act as Scrum Master or Product Owner when necessary.
Project and Delivery Responsibilities
- Prepare project deliverables and status reports.
- Develop and implement project communication plans.
- Collaborate with the GTx team to create business requirements and solutions.
- Conduct quality assurance on deliveries within GTx payment platforms.
- Support delivery through Agile or Waterfall models.
Requirements and Stakeholders
- Engage SMEs, end users, and vendors to identify, document, and validate requirements.
- Develop requirements based on user journeys and user stories for payment and corporate channel systems.
- Assist with user stories and requirements as needed.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to shape the product backlog.
Testing and Operations
- Produce test scenarios, scripts, UAT documentation, and custom test data.
- Execute UAT against approved requirements, user stories, and solution designs.
- Highlight issues related to product sign-off after testing.
- Validate and update business processes during UAT.
- Monitor and support post-production projects as part of BAU.
Agile Activities
- Participate in and facilitate backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, iteration or release planning, showcases or sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Use Agile practices to prioritize the product backlog according to business value.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or business management.
- At least 8 years of experience, including at least 6 years in cash management or corporate channel systems.
- Experience documenting user journeys, user stories, and BRDs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of transaction banking products and corporate channels.
Advantageous Qualifications
- ECBA, CBAP, CSM, or similar certifications are advantageous.
- Experience with escrow management systems, real-estate escrow processes, virtual accounts, and banking regulatory compliance is highly advantageous.
