Brand Systems Designer (Fixed Term Three-Month Contract)

Location

• Remote UK Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm Contract: Three-month contract, full time Total contract rate for 3 months: Up to £27,000 depending on experience Reports to: Marketing Director
• About Aareon Aareon is helping housing providers, property managers and landlords operate more efficiently through technology, data and AI-powered innovation.
• As Aareon continues its transformation from a collection of acquired businesses into a unified market-facing organisation, one of the most important challenges facing the business is the move from a house of brands to a branded house. Over the coming transformation period, multiple legacy product and business identities will be consolidated into a more coherent Aareon architecture, supported by a common visual language, design system and governance framework. This programme sits alongside the launch of Aareon Intelligence and a wider effort to strengthen consistency, recognition and trust across every customer touchpoint.
• To help accelerate this transformation, Aareon is engaging specialist Brand Systems Designers to help build the foundations that will allow the brand to scale consistently across marketing, product, sales and customer-facing teams.
• The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Brand Systems Designer to build Aareon's Canva ecosystem from the ground up.
• Your primary objective is to create the design infrastructure that allows a growing organisation to produce high-quality, on-brand collateral at scale. You will translate Aareon's evolving design system into Canva, creating governed templates, component libraries, workflows and brand controls that enable teams across the business to create assets independently.
• Today, Marketing sits in the path of a significant volume of collateral requests. This role helps solve that problem by creating the systems that make self-service possible whilst maintaining brand consistency during one of the largest brand transitions in the company's history.
• You will work closely with the team to create a scalable Canva environment that supports the branded-house rollout, reduces operational friction and establishes the foundation for future growth.
• This role is ideal for someone who thinks in systems rather than individual assets and enjoys designing frameworks that make entire organisations more effective.
