Responsibilities
- Own the social media content calendar end to end: planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing on brand content across channels
- Develop and pitch campaign concepts that build brand awareness and support demand generation goals
- Manage community engagement: monitor channels, respond to comments and messages, flag opportunities or issues
- Own performance reporting: track key metrics, identify trends, and turn them into recommendations
- Act as a brand voice guardian, ensuring consistency with commonsku's tone and values
- Assist in planning and placing paid advertising with PPAI and other industry publications, track budgets and report on performance
- Draft press releases and other industry communications, working with Manager on messaging and approval
- Help build and maintain relationships with industry media contacts and publications
- Support commonsku's presence at industry events and in industry facing content
- Assist in ordering and production of branded merchandise, oversee distribution and quality control
- Support the Manager, Brand and Demand and Marketing Campaign Manager in planning and prioritizing campaigns
Requirements
- Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Hands on experience managing social media for a business through co op, internship, or similar, including content planning and performance reporting
- Comfortable writing for external audiences (press releases, industry publications, or other public facing communications)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, ownership mindset with ability to run with a channel or campaign with minimal hand holding
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Genuinely excited about brand building, social media, and representing a company externally
- A good sense of humour and knack for bringing that to social media
- Completed co op or internship in marketing, brand, or communications (bonus)
- Previous HubSpot experience (bonus)

About the Role
- Looking for someone fresh out of university with a passion for brand marketing and social media.
- As Brand Coordinator, you'll own commonsku's brand presence on social media and across the promotional products industry.
- Manage social channels end to end, help place and track advertising, and draft press releases.
- Work closely with Manager, Brand and Demand, and collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, and Product.
What You'll Do
- Brand & Social Media: Own social media content calendar, develop campaign concepts, manage community engagement, own performance reporting, act as brand voice guardian.
- Industry Presence & Advertising: Assist in planning and placing paid advertising, draft press releases, build relationships with industry media, support event presence.

What You Bring

Compensation & Perks
- Starting salary: CAD 58,000–65,000 depending on experience, plus 5% annual bonus opportunity.
- Remote first culture with in person experiences.
- Company wide closure between December 25th and January 1st.
- Health and dental benefits including CAD 1,000 healthcare spending account.
- RRSP/TFSA contributions up to CAD 3,000 a year (no employee contribution required).
- Twice yearly company wide summits.
Location
- Open to candidates eligible to work in Canada, except Quebec.
- Remote first, but Toronto based preferred (HQ location).
