About the Role

- Safeguard the bank’s interest by ensuring prompt process of payments through UAE Central Bank and other payments
- Handle special printed cheque book requests as per procedure
- Assist customers by effectively dealing with their enquiries pertaining to delivery items
- Accept and handle agreed volume of work contributing to department’s performance target
- Receive cheque returns and deliver to customers as per procedure
- Ensure EOD balance of physical cheques as per system
Requirements
- Prior experience in customer due diligence, document processing and bank processing related roles
- Experience of successfully handling customers via email, phone line and face to face meetings
- Excellent command in spoken and written English and Arabic
- Customer centric and ready to go an extra mile to provide best in class service
- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and/or work permit

Role Overview
- HSBC aims to be the international bank of choice for affluent customers, supporting their domestic and international banking and holistic wealth management needs.
- This role contributes to the Bank’s business operations by providing consistently high quality Branch Operation services to customers.
In this role, you will:
- Safeguard the bank’s interest by ensuring prompt process of payments through UAE Central Bank and other payments.
- Significant volumes of transactions are for large amount and hence their processing with appropriate authorisation and controls is critical.
- Special Printed cheque book requests are handled as per the procedure.
- To assist customers by effectively dealing with their enquiries pertaining to delivery items of all types.
- Accept and handle agreed volume of work thus contributing to the achievements of the department’s performance target.
- Receive cheque returns sent by Clearing and other branches for accounts pertaining to respective Branch.
- Delivery of Cheque returns to the customers as per procedure.
- Ensure EOD balance of physical cheques as per system.
- The jobholder is required to exercise due diligence and vigilance at all times.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Prior experience in customer due diligence, document processing and bank processing related roles is must.
- Experience of successfully handling customers via email, phone line and face to face meetings.
- Excellent command in spoken in written English and Arabic.
- Customer centric and ready to go an extra mile to provide best in class service to clients.
- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and/or work permit.
